5 Holiday Cocktails Fit For Every Guest

…and one non-alcoholic option, just in case!

If you want help in making your party stand out from the usual table of beer and wine, try adding a signature cocktail.  It’s an easy addition that will help with decor, ambiance, and assist in the awkward holiday conversations you’re bound to have with the guest you don’t know very well.  The signature drink won’t be everyone’s cocktail of choice but it will add some unique festivity to your party and will surely be a standout!  Here are 5 suggestions to try:

Celebration Time, Come On:
  • 2 ounces champagne (or sparkling rose)
  • 1 ounce grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 tsp Grand Marnier
  • Add some grapefruit or orange wedges and voila!
Dreaming of a White Christmas:
  • 2 ounces vanilla vodka
  • 2 ounce white chocolate liqueur
  • 1 ounce white creme de cacao
  • 1 ounce half-and-half
  • Honey and sugar for rim garnish (talk about a yummy milkshake!)
  • *To add a peppermint flare, add .5 ounces peppermint schnapps and crushed peppermint candy to rim!

Spice Up Your Life:
  • 2 ounces Tequilla
  • 2 thin slices jalapeno
  • 1 Tbsp sliced ginger
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 3/4 ounces simple syrup
  • 3/4 ounces gingerale or ginger beer
  • Dash of bitters
  • 1 Lemon Wedge (shake shake and wait for your mouth to fire up!)
Morning Rush:
  • 1 ounce brandy
  • 1 1/4 ounces milk
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Garnish with grated nutmeg or cinnamon

Cozy Up By The fire:
  • 2 ounces apple cider
  • 2 ounces cognac
  • 1 ounce Cointreau
  • Splash of fresh lemon juice
  • Lemon peel and Luxardo cherry (or brandied cherry)
Alcohol-Free Sangria (for our beautiful preggos or sober drivers):
  • 4 cups cranberry juice
  • 2 cups brewed black tea, cooled
  • 1 bottle (750mL) sparkling red grape juice
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 5 cinnamon sticks
  • Ice (this recipe makes about 6 “cocktails”)
